Z księgozbioru Celińskich z Cekowa (pieczątki). Tekst równoległy po łacinie i po polsku. „Żywoty Cezarów” to czołowe dzieło Gaiusa Suetoniusa Tranquillusa (ok. 69-130), historyka rzymskiego. Zawiera biografie: Juliusza Cezara, Oktawiana Augusta, Tyberiusza, Kaliguli, Klaudiusza, Nerona, Galby, Otona, Witeliusza, Wespazjana, Tytusa i Domicjana. Szczególna ich wartość polega na opisie obyczajowości cesarskiej. Każda biografia zachowuje trójpodział – chronologiczne przedstawienie wydarzeń, opis cech charakteru władcy, na koniec opowieść o śmierci, poprzedzanej zawsze znakami wróżebnymi. W biografii Klaudiusza autor wspomina postać bliżej nieokreślonego Chrestosa, identyfikowanego przez historyków z Chrystusem. Autorem polskiego przekładu był Kajetan Kwiatkowski (1769-1852), historyk, tłumacz, publicysta, bibliofil, którego znaczna część zbiorów została zakupiona przez Tytusa Działyńskiego i weszła w skład Biblioteki Kórnickiej.
